With the American Idol Experience closing a few weeks ago, there is now another closing at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to announce. The Studio Backlot Tour is officially closing in less than a week and a half as the long-time attraction will begin to make way for something else.
Magic Kingdom Extends Operating Hours Throughout Middle of October
Beginning on Oct. 4, 2014, for a period of two weeks, any day that does not have a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Magic Kingdom has extended its hours. Most of the time, it looks as if two hours have been added on, but it’s also one hour on others.
Free Disney Dining 2015 Bounce Back Offer Currently Available In Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
Guests that booked Free Disney Dining for 2014 are currently arriving at Walt Disney World, and will be doing so throughout the rest of the year. Now, others are anxiously awaiting the dates for the same discount in 2015, but some may be able to book it early. Two Week Refurbishment For Kali River Rapids Set For Early 2015
For those heading to Walt Disney World early next year, you may end up missing out on one of your favorite attractions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Kali River Rapids is going to be closed for around two weeks in January and into February.

Every year in the first couple of months, Splash Mountain is non-operational for usually three months so it can have its annual refurbishment. Well, the dates are now out for 2015 for the Magic Kingdom attraction and guests will be happy to know that it shouldn’t be as long this year.

A Look At Merchandise For 2014 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival
The 2014 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival started Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, and the crowds filed into the park early in the morning. Before World Showcase opened at 11:00 a.m. and the food and wine started flowing out, the merchandise was available in the Festival Center up in Future World in the Wonders of Life pavilion.
