For those heading to Walt Disney World early next year, you may end up missing out on one of your favorite attractions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Kali River Rapids is going to be closed for around two weeks in January and into February.
Kali River Rapids will officially be closed beginning on Jan. 20, 2015, and the refurbishment is scheduled to go through Feb. 4, 2015.
That gives a tentative reopening date of Feb. 5, 2015.
There has been no word on what is being done to Kali River Rapids during the refurbishment, but tune-up refurbishments are not uncommon with water attractions.

This says it’s closing the 20th, but I tried making fast passes for the 11th and the 14th and the site says it’ll be down then.
