Ladies and gentlemen, there is a lot of character movement coming to Walt Disney World over the next few days and you’ve got to keep track of it all. Duffy will be leaving, Daisy is heading to Epcot, Rafiki is coming to Adventureland, and much more.
There is a lot about to happen in a short period of time, and it’s going to be permanent movement. Well, at least until changes coming later in the future, but for now, the character movement will be in place.
~ Duffy the Disney Bear is leaving Epcot entirely and Oct. 3, 2015, will be his last day. As of Oct. 4, 2015, he won’t be there anymore or anywhere at Walt Disney World. His merchandise will still be available at Disney Springs in the Fun Finds store on the Marketplace side.
~ Daisy Duck will be heading into Epcot from Animal Kingdom and taking over Duffy’s spot in the little character gazebo at the beginning of World Showcase.
~ As of Oct. 4, 2015, Stitch will no longer be roaming around Tomorrowland or having his stationary meet-and-greet near the Tomorrowland Stage. He will not have a location in Magic Kingdom anywhere, but will appear in the Move It Shake It Party daily.
~ According to WDWMagic, Rafiki is going to start a meet-and-greet at Magic Kingdom on Oct. 4, 2015. His character meet-and-greet location will be near the Sunshine Tree Terrace.
~ As reported a while back here on Doctor Disney, Flik is going to be returning to a character meet-and-greet at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Yes, the hero from A Bug’s Life is going to start meeting near Starbucks on Discovery Island as of Oct. 4, 2015.
This is the same date that Daisy is heading to Epcot, but she will still be at Tusker House Restaurant for character dining.

wow Disney world first the people can not meet nick and Judy from zootopia now you are getting rid of Duffy mickeys favorite stuffed anamil the beloved bear and replacing him with dasy and Shelly May and getting rid of stich that’s just cold.Peolple loved Duffy and stich i loved them too. I’m not comming back any time soon until you get Duffy and stich back and going to go to Disney land in California instead.You relly let me down this time Disney 🙁
Ok…so Stitch is meeting daily at the front of Main Street at Magic Kingdom.
Duffy is no longer there, but there are reasons…there was hardly ever a line for him. They aren’t going to leave a character out in a spot where there was never much of a demand.
