With rumors resurfacing over the weekend about Cars Land and Star Wars Land coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios; it’s going to keep bringing about more and more rumors. Today, there are even more reports of what could come to DHS and it has more to do with the proposed Cars Land.
Reports say that when Cars Land does come to DHS (tentative again), it will indeed take over the Backlot Studio Tour.
Another part of the proposed Cars Land is said to be taking over Lights, Motor, Action and making way for a renovated and different Radiator Springs Racers…the ever-popular ride out in California.
Another theory is that some sort of “Cars 2”-themed spy stunt show could just moved into the Lights, Motor, Action venue instead.
It appears as if a Cast Member that works at Lights, Motor, Action let things slip that the attraction will be closed within the year. Word has it that the final LMA stunt shows will take place in about a year before closing down for good.
Again…theories, theories, reports, reports, ideas, ideas, rumors…rumors…rumors.
There is nothing confirmed at this time. Absolutely nothing, and won’t be until officially announced by Disney themselves. There could be some kind of announcement coming at the D23 Expo in August, but then again…there may be not. Take all rumors of Cars Land and Star Wars Land at DHS with a grain of salt until official.
