Epcot’s Test Track was recently closed down for a very long refurbishment that will be overly extensive and change almost the entire concept of the attraction. Word had been out that the attraction would open back up in the fall of 2012, but more specifically on September 21, 2012 to be exact. It appears as if that date has changed ever since it was shut down on April 16, 2012.
While at Epcot today, a 10-year pin Cast Member advised that Test Track actually wouldn’t be opening until November 2012. That’s right, it seems as if the refurbishment will end up taking close to two months longer than originally anticipated.
Yet this has to be confirmed by Walt Disney World, it does seem likely.
