Along with a tour behind-the-walls of the construction for the Fantasyland Expansion at the Magic Kingdom; there was also a look behind-the-scenes of the brand new Art of Animation Resort scheduled to open on May 31, 2012. Well, the Finding Nemo wing of the resort will be opening on that date with the other three phases set to open at different times throughout the year.
Inside The Magic was a part of the tour and got some great pictures around the grounds including:
- The Food Court
- Rooms
- Cars Section
- Finding Nemo Section
There are truly some great aspects of this new resort, and that includes all of the detail that has gone into the theming. Just looking at the kitchenette areas and all the way to the shower curtains makes guests realize they will be completely submersed into whatever animated feature wing they are staying in. The lobby looks absolutely magnificent, and I can’t wait to get my first stay in one of these new rooms.
