There have been rumors for quite some time that Stitch’s Great Escape in Magic Kingdom would be closing and revamped for something new. Some credibility may have been given to those rumors as the attraction will soon starting operating on a seasonal basis.
After Oct. 1, 2016, Stitch’s Great Escape is going to seasonal operation which means it will only open during peak (holiday) times.
On Oct. 2, 2016, there are no operating hours listed for the attraction and none appear again until Nov. 19, 2016. As of Nov. 27, there will be no operating hours for Stitch’s Great Escape again and none show up until Dec. 17 while going through the end of the year, at least.
As of Jan. 3, 2017, times disappear again. From there, we will just need to see what happens as anything is subject to change.
During the times the attraction is open, it will only be from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
One of the biggest rumors going around is that Stitch’s Great Escape would be closing for a Wreck-It Ralph attraction of some kind. That remains to be seen and Disney has said nothing of the sort to confirm or make that official whatsoever.
