Disney is bringing forth another new apparel collection, and this is one that will likely end up costing me a good deal of money. The new collection is called “YesterEars” – A Vintage Collection, and it’s arriving very soon.
The Disney Parks Blog introduced three new (old) shirts which are going to be able to be found on the Disney Parks Online Store as of Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016. Over the course of the next three months, limited-time and limited-release vintage apparel will show up online.
This apparel is inspired by old-school attractions and locations from Walt Disney World and you will want them. This first set of three shirts will be available from Aug. 18-25, 2016 so head to the Disney Parks Online Store and look for the “Park Events,” but they won’t be able to be seen or purchased until Aug. 18.
One is themed after the original Journey Into Imagination attraction and it features Dreamfinder and Figment…which…nothing more needs to be said.
For those who miss ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter which was in Tomorrowland from 1995 until October of 2003, you’re in luck. The attraction which is now Stitch’s Great Escape was quite frightening and in an awesome manner.
The third and final shirt in this first round will feature the Walt Disney World Preview Center which was only open from January of 1970 through September of 1971. It was a place for Guests to learn about the “new project,” and learn what was to come.
Another collection of shirts will come in September and let’s hope this release of “YesterEars” shirts is something that Disney decides to keep around for a while longer.
