A brand news nighttime spectacular is about to begin at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and it’s going to be quite amazing. Disney has announced that a new Star Wars nighttime spectacular, stage show, and more will begin this spring and you will feel the force.

Beginning on April 4, 2016, a brand new stage show called “Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away” will begin and go through some of the most significant and iconic moments of the movie saga.
It will take place on Center Stage and bring forth characters such as Darth Maul, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and Kylo Ren.
On that same day, Captain Phasma will arrive at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to lead a daily march of First Order Stormtroopers from Star Wars Launch Bay to Center Stage. This is set to take place multiple times daily.
There’s more fun coming though, and it includes a brand new Star Wars-themed fireworks show that will take place nightly, and it is set to begin sometime this summer. Per the Disney Parks Blog:
“Starting this summer, fans won’t want to miss the grand debut of a new Star Wars fireworks show, “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular.” This new nightly show is the next generation of the current Star Wars-inspired fireworks show. The show will combine fireworks, pyrotechnics, special effects and video projections that will turn the nearby Chinese Theater and other buildings into the twin suns of Tatooine, a field of battle droids, the trench of the Death Star, Starkiller Base and other Star Warsdestinations. The show will be punctuated with a tower of fire and spotlight beams, creating massive lightsabers in the sky. This new show will be the most elaborate fireworks display to take place in the history of Disney’s Hollywood Studios.”
