Just a little over a month ago, Baymax returned for meet-and-greets, but he was and is now stationed at Epcot. Well, it looks like another new meet-and-greet could be coming soon and rumor has it that it will be Joy and Sadness from Inside Out.
This is something that is nothing more than a rumor at this point so please only take it as such.
Joy and Sadness have made sporadic meet-and-greets here and there at parks on each coast, and they were also in the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade. They’ve appeared at a number of events in the past, but never a full-on meet-and-greet.
Fans have asked and begged for them, and hopefully this Inside Out rumor comes true and they show up soon.
As the rumors circulating state, Joy and Sadness would end up in the expanded Epcot Character Spot which used to be Innoventions West. Baymax now appears in it across from the original location that still is home to Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Goofy.
As WDWMagic also stated, there is no confirmed word on an Inside Out meet-and-greet coming yet from Disney. Until they give the word, say it is happening, or just have it start…then it isn’t actually going to happen.
We just have to wait and see.
