So, as if the new Star Wars Launch Bay and Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Tuesday wasn’t enough…there’s more. Club Disney opened over at the end of Sunset Blvd., and it’s a great place to have a party, have a snack, or even just relax.
Club Disney is located in the new Sunset Showcase building at the end of the Sunset Blvd. and right next to Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. It is open daily from 9:45 a.m. through 8 p.m., but always check your Times Guide to be sure.
It was meant to open on Friday, but a soft opening had its doors open today.
There is a DJ leading everything in the Sunset Showcase with 360 degree video screens going all around the ceiling. There is some great music for all to enjoy as Disney characters come out in random intervals throughout the day to dance with Guests.
Those that visit Club Disney will be joined randomly by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Chip and Dale, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, and Daisy Duck.
Keep your eyes open though as you never know who may show up.

Circling around the floor at Club Disney are interactive screens where kids can “paint” electronically on some Disney cartoons. It’s a really cool idea that is a lot of fun and keeps them occupied as well.
Spread around are chairs and seating for Guests, as well as charging stations for your phones and other electronic devices.
There is a full restroom and also a snack stand. At the snack stand, Guests can purchase brownies, cotton candy, cupcakes, mini corn dog bites, and the Club Mickey Sandwich.
Club Disney is the first event to take place in the new Sunset Showcase, and there is no end date set as of yet. Beginning in January, some nights will be taken over by spooky characters as Club Villain, a special reservation event, comes to life.
