Ladies and gentlemen, there is going to be more to love and enjoy at the 2016 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival as the dates have been revealed and it will be a full 90 days. Yes, there will be a full three months of food, flowers, and fun.
Next year, the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival will begin on March 2 and run all the way through May 30, 2016. That is an expansion to 90 days from the 75 days that it was earlier in 2015.
Disney is bringing a lot and here is what they had to say about what Guests can expect in 2016:
As you take in the gorgeous creations we have planned for you, nosh on sweet and savory Outdoor Kitchen dishes and refreshing beverages. Even the kids will want to have a bite – or your whole portion.
Making their topiary debut at the park’s front entrance will be Donald Duck’s mischievous nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie along with Donald and Daisy. And to celebrate the National Parks Service centennial, Ranger Mickey Mouse will join for the first time in Future World.
See how our horticulture artists create the new Floral Sun garden that will celebrate the brightest star in Earth’s orbit with yellow “sunbursts” that pop up across the Future World landscape.
This year, kids will have the opportunity to have fun in the brand new “Fab Five” play garden featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto, and Goofy. There will actually be musical instruments built into the outdoor climbing systems for the kids.
The Garden Rocks concert series will also be returning to Epcot Flower & Garden Festival in 2016 so mark the dates down and prepare for three months of awesome.
