Disney’s Boardwalk Inn is going to be without one of its main dining locations for a long period of time in 2016 as the Flying Fish Cafe will be under refurbishment.
The official Disney refurbishment schedule has added an eight-month long refurbishment for the Flying Fish Cafe.
It will officially close on Feb. 1, 2016, and it is scheduled to be closed all the way through Sept. 30, 2016. It is tentatively scheduled to reopen to Guests on Oct. 1, 2016.
There is no word yet on what is being done to the Flying Fish Cafe that could take a whole eight months, but it’s obviously going to be rather extensive.
Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
