Many have been waiting and now the winter refurbishment dates for the Walt Disney World water parks appears to be in place. This year, look for them to switch times with Blizzard Beach closing first and then Typhoon Lagoon after it.
Blizzard Beach is scheduled to close beginning on Oct. 25, 2015, and stay closed through the end of the year.. It is currently set to reopen to Guests on Jan. 2, 2016.
Typhoon Lagoon is scheduled to close beginning on Jan. 3, 2016, and stay closed into the Spring. It is currently set to reopen to Guests on March 12, 2016.
