For months now, there have been plenty of rumors regarding the Free Disney Dining Plan discount coming out for 2015. Well, as the time draws closer to when it is released every year, the rumors get stronger. Now, that’s happening again so let’s see what they say.
Remember, these are nothing but rumors. While they could end up being true to the exact day…until Disney announces it, they are rumors and nothing more.
The way it appears to be right now, here are the dates that Free Disney Dining will be released:
~ Monday, April 27, 2015 – For Disney Visa Cardholders
~ Friday, May 1, 2015 – For the general public
For now, there are no rumors to what could be excluded as far as resorts or what dates the discount will be available, but we may end up knowing that soon enough.
Again, there is no guarantee that Free Disney Dining will even come out, but people rely on it every single year. Free Disney Dining Hoarders may end up making it a thing of the past one day…if not, they’re certainly going to be the reason that more resorts are excluded.
Now, if these dates end up being true…then historically, it’s about accurate. Let’s look at when it’s come out the past few years.
2014 for fall/winter
- Disney Visa Cardholders – May 2
- General Public – May 7
2013 for fall/winter
- Disney Visa Cardholders – May 2
- General Public for September – May 9
- Extension through rest of year – August 1
2012 for fall/winter
- Disney Visa Cardholders – March 1
- General Public – March 5
- Extension through rest of year for Visa Cardholders – July 9
- Extension through rest of year – July 12
So…there you have it. A rumor about Free Disney Dining as we have every single year. It may and very well could come out. No matter what anyone says or tells you though, it is not officially in place until the word comes straight from Disney.
