The rumors are no longer rumors as the Beautifully Disney make-up line has indeed been discontinued by Disney.
Reports came out about it over the past week or so, but Doctor Disney personally had seen the make-up still on the shelves at Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and Downtown Disney. More reports came out on Saturday so it took some looking into.
Headed over to Downtown Disney and yes, the Beautifully Disney location in the Marketplace Co-Op is completely gone. It has now been turned into the Wonderground Gallery which sells artwork.
Upon checking out World of Disney, I spoke with a longtime manager and asked her about Beautifully Disney. She did confirm to me that it has been discontinued and every item has been pulled from Disney’s shelves.
I asked her why she thought it was discontinued, and she couldn’t give an exact answer, but these were her thoughts:
“Well, a lot of women weren’t buying it. Teens, adults…women like a certain line of make-up, and I’ll be honest, I’m that same way. There are certain make-up brands that I like or are good for my skin or look good on me. It’s hard to just switch to a new one.”
Whatever the reason may be, Beautifully Disney is discontinued and will be no more. After lines for multiple Disney Princesses, Minnie Mouse, Frozen, Haunted Mansion, and more…it’s done.
You may be able to find some online, but once it’s gone…then expect to see it on auction sites.
