It was revealed a couple of days ago that some changes would be coming to Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom, and they mostly have to do with lunch. Well, a source of mine directly related to the situation has given me much more information of how it will all work.
Please know that this is all the info that is known at this time.
Here is the info as it has been relayed to me directly from a source and how it has been laid out for Cast Members.

“Beginning February 25, Guests can make reservations for fast-casual lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park by visiting MyDisneyExperience.com or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.
Guests with lunch reservations can pre-order meals through My Disney Experience from 30 days to 5 minutes prior to their reservation. A link to pre-order will be available via the Guest’s confirmation email or through their My Disney Experience profile under My Reservations. Guests who do not pre-order their meals can make selections when they arrive at the restaurant.
Please note that a system-wide test is being conducted in a la carte, so even though the Be Our Guest lunch may be visible onscreen, it will not be available for booking until February 25.”
