The FASTPass test that has been running at Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom appears as if it may soon be coming to an end. It’s been going on for a number of months now, but it looks like Disney may have something else in the works.
UPDATE: After getting feedback from a source and hearing from Doctor Disney reader Tammy, it appears as if Be Our Guest lunch will still be a FASTPass option, but it will be moving to My Disney Experience. Everything will stay in order as it is now, and it will NOT count against your three original FASTPass+ selections per day.
Now, until Disney officially announces this, things could change.
Doctor Disney reader Heather noticed today that she attempted to go and make a FASTPass for Be Our Guest late in February, but was given this message:
On Feb. 24, 2015 the lunch testing at Be Our Guest Restaurant will be ending. Beginning Feb. 25, log on to MyDisneyExperience.com for more information about dining at Be Our Guest Restaurant for lunch.
Upon checking into things, there are no FASTPasses being given out for Be Our Guest after that date. Looking at the Advanced Dining Reservation system, there are also none of those able to be made. Be Our Guest ADRs are still just for dinner through 180 days out which is late into July.
The FASTPass experiment has been referred to as a test this entire time, and it appears as if enough info has been collected. For what? Well, we don’t know yet, but more on this as we find it out.
For now, up until that date in February, follow these instructions to attempt to get a FASTPass at Be Our Guest.
