Will the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade Be A ‘Frozen’ Celebration?

The Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade is iconic and is now in its 31st year. The parade taping at Walt Disney World is set for Dec. 5 and 6 of this year, and there are already Guests preparing to enjoy it, but this year…it may be a little different. There are some major hints and blatantly obvious signs that things are going to be quite “Frozen” for Christmas this year at both Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom.

As seen on the 2014 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Map, there is a small picture of Mickey Mouse in front of a Christmas tree and a small blurb stating:

“Watch the Disney Frozen Christmas Celebration, December 25, on ABC. Check your local listings for air times. www.Disney.com/DisneyParksChristmas

Upon seeing that on the early release of the map, I went to the website listed and it still just said that it would be the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade. Now, with the map officially released as of last night’s first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, things have changed.

Frozen Christmas Celebration

There have been no details as to celebrity guests, musical performances, or anything else like that as of yet. Still, it’s interesting to see that there has been a huge “Frozen” reference already put in for the Christmas Parade.

As you can see in the graphic, it appears as if it will still be called the “Annual Disney Parks Christmas Day Celebration and Parade,” but “Frozen” is going to obviously be a big part of it.
