Earlier today, Doctor Disney revealed two new MagicBands coming this fall – Christmas and Holiday Olaf – but that won’t be all. There are two more heading Guests’ way , and they will be just as awesome. One of the MagicBands is for “Big Hero 6” and the other is for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
A friend of mine advised me this morning of the Christmas MagicBand, but he wasn’t sure if it would be for the party or not. While out at Magic Kingdom, he advised me that much like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the Christmas parties would get their own MagicBands as well.
It appears as this one, like the Halloween MagicBands, will be a limited edition of 5,000. They are set to be released at the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on Nov. 7, 2014. It will make unique sounds and lights at FASTPass+ touch-points and should sell for $29.95.
The other MagicBand coming out will be for “Big Hero 6,” and my source said they should be available at most Walt Disney World locations that sell the bands and accessories.
It is a limited release, but doesn’t seem like it will be limited in number. Just make sure to get them while you can. They are set to sell for $24.95 a piece and will not make unique sounds and lights.
“Big Hero 6” hit theaters on Nov. 7, 2014, and characters Hiro and Baymax are set to hit some Disney Parks shortly after that.
