Toy Story Mania Currently Accepting Only FASTPass+ Guests and No Standby Line

Toy Story Mania FASTPass+This is certainly not going to please a lot of people but Toy Story Mania is running a test this week at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and it’s only accepting guests with FASTPass+ reservations. That’s right, there is no standby line at all for Toy Story Mania at this time.

The standby line for Toy Story Mania is not in operation whatsoever at this time. Therefore, guests cannot just walk up and wait in line as they please.

Guests with a FASTPass+ reservation already in place can go through that line upon the active time for it. It appears as if some extra FASTPass+ reservations have been added though as many were still available today (Oct. 6, 2014) as of 11:00 a.m. EST.

There has been no word as to how long this test will last exactly, but one source of mine said they heard unconfirmed reports that it would be at least a week.

But then again, it could be longer.

Not much more is known or even what they are trying to accomplish with Toy Story Mania’s new test.

Now, Soundstage One – where Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post most recently was located before its move – is under construction. This leads many to believe that the rumors of Toy Story Mania being expanded could end up really coming true.

Guests, Cast Members, and no-one but construction crew members are being allowed into Soundstage One located immediately next to Toy Story Mania.

Hoping to find out more on this, but as of now…if you want to ride Toy Story Mania, get a FASTPass+ reservation.

I could see something like this working *if* you didn’t have to choose between TS and other tier one attractions. I like the idea of managing a shorter queue, but to be fair, everyone would needs return time.

This not right what if you do not want to book places and want the freedom to go to any park on any day we are not able to plan that far ahead
