On the evening of Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, Off Kilter had their final performance in the Canada Pavilion at Epcot. The crowd was huge and it was emotional and it was a great send-off. We all knew that their replacement would be a lumberjack show, but now we know more about it and even their start date.
The Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show officially announced on their Facebook page that they will be taking over the Canada Pavilion.
It can now be announced and it is official, we have a year around permanent lumberjack show at Walt Disney World Epcot. The Show is called the Canadian Lumberjack Show located next to the Canadian Pavilion! So when you come to Disney World Epcot hey, please stop by and say hi! The show starts the week of October 5th. I am doing my happy dance right now!
So, now we know there will be just about a week break for entertainment in Canada between the last show of Off Kilter and the debut of the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show.
Not everything has yet been revealed about the new show and what will be happening, but it could be any number of things that the group does. Some of those include:
- Log chopping
- Axe throwing
- Log rolling
- Tree climbing
- Chainsaw races
- And much more…
