Comments

  1. “Not an overly busy week for news in the Disney Parks”? Did you see the size of the crowd for the last Off Kilter performance? Did you miss the outrage regular guests expressed at their ‘retirement’? I’d call that ‘news’ by any definition.

    • No, I haven’t missed anything considering the outrage over the loss of Off Kilter nor did I miss the crowd at their last performance since I was there.

It really wasn’t a very busy week news-wise as there was not a lot to report about. As you can see by the short list of links in the article. The news of Off Kilter’s retirement, along with the other groups at Epcot, was reported on the day it was announced about a month ago.

There was also this part of the paragraph you didn’t quote but was immediately after the part you did quote.

“The biggest things that happened were the final days of so many things at the Walt Disney World Resort. Those included the final performances of the World Showcase Players, Mo’Rockin, Spirit of America, and Off Kilter at Epcot. The “Frozen” royal welcome and fireworks will have their final performances this evening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And on Sept. 27, 2014, the Studio Backlot Tour traveled down the backstreets of the DHS for the final time.”

Not necessarily news, but something big that happened which was already reported as news. Yet still referenced here.
