There are some great places to catch some shade at the Magic Kingdom, but there’s a new spot that actually is one of the best in all of Walt Disney World. Remember the FASTPass location that was in Storybook Circus? Well, with the old paper machines now a thing of the past, they transformed that area into a seating area with a lot of electronics charging stations.
The area is right outside the back entrance of Big Top Souvenirs and next to Pete’s Silly Sideshow. You won’t be able to miss it, but it’s truly one of the best spots I’ve seen in any park, and Storybook Circus is perfect for it.
For those that always try to find an outlet or use the Tomorrowland charging lockers or swelter out in the heat outside the Tangled-themed bathrooms…this area over in Storybook Circus is quite a godsend.
There are picnic tables, lounge chairs, and even really comfortable chairs that you can lay down on. They have cushions on them, and the best part is that this entire area is shaded.
Looking around, you’ll see a number of charging boxes with multiple outlets in each one of them, and they have outlets that fit two-prong, three-prong, and more.
Storybook Circus has this area kind of hidden in the back, but it’s a great place to relax, cool off, charge your electronics, and even have lunch.
