For those visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in September, be prepared with the knowledge of how your transportation is going to work. The Disney Monorail will have a different operating schedule starting on Sept. 1, 2014, and lasting throughout most of the month.
Yes, the month of September is a busy time at Walt Disney World, and there is a lot going on, but you’ve got to pay attention to the Disney Monorail schedule. As of now, the following schedule is tentatively set to be in place through Sept. 26, 2014.
Here is how it’s going to run.
- Disney Monorail Express Beam: 9:30 a.m. – 1 hour after the Magic Kingdom Wishes fireworks
- Disney Monorail Resort Beam: 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. (12:00 a.m. on special event nights – MNSSHP)
- Epcot Monorail Beam: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
When the Disney Monorail is not in operation, there will be Walt Disney World buses and boats available to transport guests.
On the evenings of Sept. 5, 2014, and Sept. 6, 2014, the Express and Resort beams for the Disney Monorail will cease operations at 2:00 a.m. due to Night of Joy.
