Disney Dream’s 2015 Dry Dock Has Three Sailings Canceled, Three Sailings Added

Disney Dream dry dock 2015Remember last year when the Disney Magic’s first return sailing was canceled due to more work needed? Well, Disney Cruise Line is already looking ahead to the dry dock for the Disney Dream in 2015, and that has changed up some dates so be aware.

Dry dock for the Disney Dream has now been changed up a bit, and that means three sailings have been canceled while three have been added.

Guests sailing aboard the canceled sailings received letters advising them of the cancellations. DCL also advised that guests contact Disney by Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, at 1-866-325-3905 or 407-566-7032 to learn about available options and to modify bookings.

Guests that are affected by this change in the Disney Dream sailings will receive an additional $250 onboard credit once a new sailing date is chosen.

Disney Dream 2015 canceled sailings:

  • Oct. 16, 2015 – 3-night Bahamian Cruise
  • Oct. 19, 2015 – 4-night Bahamian Cruise
  • Oct. 23, 2015 – 3-night Bahamian Cruise

Disney Dream 2015 added sailings (not yet online to be booked):

  • Sept. 25, 2015 – 3-night Bahamian Cruise
  • Sept. 28, 2015 – 3-night Bahamian Cruise
  • Oct. 1, 2015 – 3-night Bahamian Cruise

All of these changes make it expected for the Disney Dream’s dry dock to officially begin on Oct. 4, 2015, and likely end around Oct. 25, 2015.

This will officially be the first dry dock for the Disney Dream which debuted in 2011. There has been no word on what changes could or are possibly being made during its time off the water.
