Disney’s MyMagic+ Experiencing Outages All Over The Place – App and Website

MyMagic+ DisneyThis is a big heads-up for all of those that are in Walt Disney World or planning their Disney vacations or even just looking at their Disney plans. Disney’s MyMagic+ is experiencing severe problems all around the resort and that means on the My Disney Experience app and website.

UPDATE: Just advised that the “server will be down for the rest of the day due to unscheduled maintenance.” I was advised that “rest of the day” is an estimate so keep trying if you need it.

Reports have been coming into me all morning, and it’s something I’ve personally experienced myself. MyMagic+ is either undergoing some serious “magical enhancements” or there is just a problem with the system.

For those on the website, you’ll see pages continually trying to load or even this lovely image of Olaf letting you know that MyMagic+ is out.

Those using the app, again, it will keep trying to load for a long time or tell you to try again later. Donald Duck has also shown up at times to tell you that something is wrong.

Guests are currently experiencing these MyMagic+ issues:

  • Extremely long load times
  • FASTPass+ reservations disappearing
  • Dining reservations disappearing
  • FASTPass+ reservations doubling
  • Not even being able to log into My Disney Experience
  • Different errors when navigating through pages
  • Constantly being kicked out/logged out of their My Disney Experience accounts

Mind you, there are likely to be more, but these are the problems that have been reported to me and that I’ve experienced. No-one has yet advised me of issues with their MagicBands.

Disney has advised that they know about the problems and are working very hard to fix them. If you continue to have issues, you can always call into Disney tech support for help with MyMagic+ and all going on with it. If the system comes back up and you are missing dining or FP+ reservations, please call into tech support.

For those in the park, please head to guest services or a FASTPass+ kiosk Cast Member for any help.

These things happen. It’s a huge system and problems happen, but Disney is aware and working to correct them as quickly as possible.

  1. Staying at the Yacht club which usually scans magicbands for pool access. A chatty employee said the whole RFID system is down all over the parks too. Trouble letting people in the parks because they can’t verify tickets which makes me wonder if fast pass queues are down as well. We were in Epcot and did our fast passes first thing this morning but were out of the park before the problems. I noticed this morning that the app wouldn’t work for me but was fine for my wife.
