With all that is going on over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, why not throw in some more? Disney Outfitters, the main merchandise location at the park, is about to undergo a big expansion.
The refurbishment for Disney Outfitters has already begun and when all is done, the store will be much bigger than it is now. Expansion is going to push out further and actually overtake that space in front of it.
To make way for the expansion, the tip board has now been permanently closed and is going to soon be removed.
Located in front of the Tree of Life right at Discovery Island, Disney Outfitters is going to branch out into the space where the tip board currently stands.
The merchandise location is expected to remain open during the refurbishment, but some areas and entrances may be closed off at times.
For those wondering where to get your park info such as wait times and such, now, that the tip board is gone…well, you’re going to have to turn to your My Disney Experience app.
