There is a lot of construction going on at Disney’s Polynesian (soon to be Village) Resort, and that includes a lengthy closing of the Nanea Volcano Pool. Due to that refurbishment, guests at the resort will receive a free day at Blizzard Beach.
That’s right, the refurbishment of Polynesian’s Volanco Pool will bring forth a complimentary day at Blizzard beach for thsoe staying at the resort.
Refurbishment on the Polynesian Volcano Pool is scheduled to begin near the end of July 2014 and run through the early part of 2015. Dates are not set in stone yet and things are always subject to change.
Guests staying at the Polynesian during this time were sent a letter stating the following:
“We anticipate the Nanea Volcano Pool and Slide to close for enhancement in late July through early 2015. Should you find the pool unavailable during your stay, one complimentary ticket to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, our watery winter wonderland featuring waterslides, a wave pool, water play areas for the kids and more, will be given to each member of your party. To ensure you have a seamless visit to the Park, we will provide transportation to a dedicated check-in at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park where you will receive your complimentary tickets and towels.”
