Pics and Info From Anna and Elsa’s Debut At the Magic Kingdom

Anna and ElsaThe day finally came on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014, and it was the official debut of Anna and Elsa from Disney’s Frozen at Princess Fairytale Hall in the Magic Kingdom. Large crowds were already expected for the holiday, but Anna and Elsa heading over to Fantasyland from Epcot made the crowds that much bigger.

On one side of Princess Fairytale Hall, Anna and Elsa stood in one location while Sleeping Beauty was on the other side of the room. On the other side of the building, Cinderella and Rapunzel shared a room together.

Anna and Elsa will always be together, but the visiting princesses will vary.

Here is a slideshow from the “Frozen” debut at Magic Kingdom including lines, visiting princesses, and more. There is extra information – including standby waits – below.

On Sunday, Magic Kingdom opened at 9:00 a.m. and by 9:17, the standby for Anna and Elsa in Princess Fairytale Hall was over three hours long. The standby line for Rapunzel and Cinderella was a walk-in and honestly, less than five minutes.

FASTPass+ is available for Anna and Elsa, but it is almost impossible to get. Upon speaking with numerous Cast Member managers at Magic Kingdom today, the best advice is to literally “keep trying.”

Upon opening of the Magic Kingdom, the extra queue line ropes had not yet been set up outside Princess Fairytale Hall, and the line stretched back through Cinderella Castle.

A number of guests were saying that there were issues with FASTPasses on Sunday, and even having their reservations disappear for Anna and Elsa.
