The 3D experience “It’s Tough To Be A Bug” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be closed for refurbishment for quite some time this summer.
Beginning on July 7, 2014, the refurbishment for “It’s Tough To Be A Bug” will run through Aug. 11, 2014. It is tentatively scheduled to reopen to guests on Aug. 12, 2014.
There is no exact word as to the reason for the closure, but the length of time leads many to believe that the attraction will have all aspects overhauled. A number of times, some of the effects don’t work properly and need to be tuned up.
