With the reveal of a brand new trailer for Disney’s “Maleficent” on March 18, 2014, Disney also announced that guests to the theme parks will be able to get a sneak peek extended look in mid-April.
Beginning on April 18, 2014, guests visiting the ABC Sound Studio at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and A Bug’s Life theater at Disney California Adventure in Disneyland will see an extended sneak peek of the new film.
The film is already generating a lot of buzz due to the past trailer and posters that have been released. Many are praising the look, sound, and acting of Angelina Jolie as the dragon queen.
The new trailer for “Maleficent” released on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, clearly shows a lot more than we have seen before. Finally, we are able to see the wings and dragon form of Maleficent, and they look absolutely awesome.
“Maleficent” stars Angelina Jolie in the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain from the classic “Sleeping Beauty” and the elements of her betrayal that ultimately turn her pure heart to stone. Driven by revenge and a fierce desire to protect the moors over which she presides, Maleficent cruelly places an irrevocable curse upon the human king’s newborn infant, Aurora. As the child grows, Aurora is caught in the middle of the seething conflict between the forest kingdom she has grown to love and the human kingdom that holds her legacy. Maleficent realizes that Aurora may hold the key to peace in the land and is forced to take drastic actions that will change both worlds forever.
Disney’s “Maleficent” is set to hit theaters on May 30, 2014.
