During the Walt Disney Company Annual Shareholders Meeting on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, Disney CEO Bob Iger dropped some big news about the fourth D23 Expo. He announced that it will officially take place on the dates of Aug. 14-6, 2015, and it will happen again at the Anaheim Convention Center.
It’s going to be a great weekend yet again in which Disney fans and press learn about theme parks, movies, music, games, and more from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, the Muppets, Pixar, and more.
Iger says that the D23 Expo in 2015 is going to be the largest ever and that is saying something considering 2013’s event drew over 65,000 fans.
“The D23 Expo is the ultimate Disney fan event, created to honor and celebrate your love of all things Disney,” Disney Chairman and CEO Robert A. Iger told shareholders and D23 Members at the Company’s Annual Meeting today in Portland, Oregon. “And we hope to see you there.”
So far, not a lot is known about the event, but there will be:

- Imagineer Forums

StagePass will also return next year and it will make it easier for attendees to obtain a guaranteed seat for some of the more popular presentations.
Advance tickets for the D23 Expo are going to go on sale on D23Expo.com on Aug. 14, 2014. D23 members will indeed receive special pricing for all event tickets.
D23 Gold and Silver members will also receive early admission to the D23 Expo show floor.
D23 Charter members will have access to the D23 Expo’s Charter Member Lounge.
All D23 members will have the option to purchase the returning Sorcerer’s Package which includes a number of amenities, benefits, and not accessible to regular guest items.
