Walt Disney World has its up-times and its down-times, and those can sometimes be judged by looking at the WDW Attendance Levels. There are those days though, that the parks are just overly crowded – expected or not – and there are those things you’ve got to make sure that you don’t do.
Of course, there’s no law or rule against doing these things, but a little common courtesy and the “Golden Rule” should always be kept in mind.
1.) Look down at your phone and keep walking.
2.) Stop walking in the dead center of traffic and look at your map or have a family meeting.
3.) Ignore your children.
4.) Park yourself between the curb and the person that was already on the curb waiting for the parade.
5.) Wait in line until you get to the very front and then call your party of (insert number here) that was waiting off to the side.
6.) Let your child run up to hug or try to get an autograph or take a picture with a character…when you’re still about 20 people back in line.
7.) Park your stroller or wheelchair or wagon in the middle of a walkway while you wander off to the side for a snack, sightseeing, or a smoke.
8.) Seat so many people at a single table that some of you are now sitting at tables with other guests.
9.) Chant or pull a cheer stunt or do a choreographed dance or perform a scene from a play while waiting in line for any attraction, meal line, or for a parade.
10.) Do not…I repeat, do NOT ignore Cast Member requests to “please continue moving all way down” when entering any theater or finding a gate for the Monorail. – Seriously, don’t make people decide what view of their body to give you while they cross over you because you plopped down in the middle.
