Fake Pizza Fliers Target Guests at Disney World Resorts and Surrounding Area

Disney fake Disney flyerScammers are targeting tourists in the Central Florida and Walt Disney World area. A fake pizza flyer scam is happening at Central Florida hotels and they are being delivered for places that don’t even exist.

These fliers are being slipped under the doors of of hotel and motel rooms, and they have no truth to them at all.

The restaurants are not searchable on the Internet, and the phone number usually goes to a T-Mobile voicemail that is normally full.

The fliers are almost always delivered at night by people sneaking on Disney property or waiting around until later, and leaving them for unsuspecting, and hungry, guests.

If guests happen to call the numbers and get an actual person, the scammers take your order by credit card and then…have your information to do as they wish.

Over the past two weeks, guests at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and the Comfort Inn Maingate on Hwy 192 in Kissimmee have been targeted.

Personally, I’ve gotten them on a few occasions on Disney property including Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Resort.

Steer clear of these sketchy, fake pizza fliers.

  1. Hmm interesting! We saw these at All-Star Sports when we stayed there last month. Yikes.

  2. Peter Bonk says

The ONLY scam here is that the new media NEVER let us little pizzerias tell our side of the story!!! It is so obvious that DISNEY runs the media in this town. You see the real fact is that next to a ticket to the parks in the area PIZZA DELIVERY is BIG BUSINESS, Disney who sides with Flippers Pizza(Flippers makes the pizza crusts for disney) SCAMS you the tourist into beliving this B.S. and then gets you to buy their overhyped flippers crappy pizza. They never show you PROOF of any credit cards stolen as it isn’t happenning. It scares the tourist into buying their VERY EXPENSIVE pizza1 Just read the fine print on their menus to see all the charges you will be paying.

And yes, BIG POWERFUL , GREEDY corporations like Disney get new laws passed that push the little guys face in the sand. Florida State Statute 509.144 makes little mom and pop pizzerias worse than drug dealers. Dealers loose their drugs and car when arrested but this new law takes the little pizza families car, house, bank accouns and business from them! UNFAIR COMPETITION!!!!!1 Hello!!

Please support your local independently owned pizzeria and boycott Disney/Flippers pizza.

Peter Bonk- Owner Two Italians Pizza Delivery – A legitimately licenced restaurant.

P.S. – I dare the news media to come hear my side of the SCAM story. Wait till October when my new flier as well as the other mom and pops fliers state these cold hard facts on their menus! Don’t bully the little guys, buy them out. Shits about to get real nasty!

We own a restaurant/former pizzaria in Sarasota, Florida. Google The Broadway Bar. This was hands down the worst pizza my husband and i have ever had and doing a search after experiencing such a bad product brought me to this page. A horrible product is a horrible product and the reviews speak for themselves. This has nothing to do with censorship from big companies like Disney and everything to do with Two Italians putting out the worst pizza product i have ever experienced. A little background on me, half italian(sicilian) and in the restaurant industry my entire life. Our restaurant is called The Starlite Room, again in Sarasota Florida. We never noticed the signs at the front desk about Two Italians but now want to share our bad experience because, frustratingly, there are many decent places locally to order food, even late night. Pizza was actually worst then a 7/11 pizza with that same frozen crust and watery/tasteless cheese and a tiny amount of tasteless sauce. Do yourself a favor and buy the frozen pizza at your hotel lobby to heat in your room or wait until the AM.

MR. BONK IS RIGHT!!!!! Florida has secretly and unconstitutionally passed several laws that prohibit SMALL mom and pop Pizza Shops from marketing in their area. This led to dozens of local pizza shops shutting their doors because of these big companies. Most Tourists do not know this they just have to believe what Disney tells them. If you think about it mom and pop shops always have a better product because it is about the name and not the money. Would you invest $160,000 dollars or more in opening a pizza shop to have a bad product? No …you are going to make it the best pizza around. work at a Disney hotel and I eat at two Italians pizza everyday on my lunch break it is a great family owned shop and always clean and friendly.

Involved in the real scam is
    Disney
    State of Florida
    Dominos Pizza
    Flippers Pizza

Y’all buy your pizza from Costco and put them in generic boxes and then mark up the price . More like $160.00 investment.

  4. Whether or not these are a scam is immaterial as far as I’m concerned, they aren’t flyers that are welcome on Disney property. Disney has a strict no solicitation policy at all of their resorts and that is posted at all the entrances to each property. I’ve seen the flyers in question here and have witnessed guests not get the brand they expected when they ordered from it. I’ve seen people only accept cash with these and have the first a hungry howies box out of the trunk of the car, presumably charging the guest a lot more than was originally paid for the pizza. Call it slander if you want that Disney calls it a scam, I call the entire flyer deal illegal.

  5. Security Professional says

Ha Ha, we catch your criminal trespassing flyer solicitors everytime they come to the resort trying to advertise that nasty food of yours. We even caught you Mr. Bonk.

    • Just received one under my hotel room door. Researched the business name. Comes up as filed fictitious by a Peter Allen Bonk. Researched Peter Allen Bonk. This has scam written all over it. Not only that, but Mr. Bonk has a criminal record. Also, who orders food from a menu with such limited items? Doesn’t seem like a $160,000 plus business to me. How sad…

  6. The tale begins in the late 1990s, when Peter Bonk wore two hats. He was a businessman spending long hours running a fledgling pizza company. He was also the leader of a burglary ring that targeted hotel and convenience stores in central Florida.

Bonk used the boys who distributed his pizza coupons at hotels to steal shaving products, batteries, disposable cameras, shampoo, towels and lots of toothpaste, according to court documents. Bonk and his henchmen also pinched some bigger items, including a commercial-style mixer, an air conditioner and a barbecue grill.

Bonk said he told his wife he bought the stuff at flea markets or garage sales. He hid some things in the garage or away from the home. Bonk was facing charges of racketeering, grand theft and dealing in stolen property. The two racketeering charges came with sentences of up to 30 years each.

But they offered Bonk just five years probation in return for his complete and truthful cooperation.
And sadly, he’s still up to his old tricks… using a residence number on the internet as his business address, using the Howard Johnson’s address on his flyers, illegally distributing flyers on private properties. By the way, I guess he also keeps forgetting that this is now a felony because of the criminal activity involved with this behavior.

P.S. Disney Cast do not buy Two Italians pizzas because they are known scams and Disney does not use Flippers dough for it’s on site pizza sales, yet another lie… Having enjoyed Flippers pizza I can say that it is one of the tastiest in town. BJ’s brewery has the best Chicago style.

    • The sad thing is Mr Bonk and his Partner Mr Gonzalez have been very active in the crime ring of Florida. They work together as a Team to scam the tourist industry. The time has come to shut down Mr Bonk for he has stolen enough from the local economy

  10. DisneyTrip2015 says

The Two Italians Pizza flier was slipped in the side of my door when I stayed at the Disney All Star Movies Resort recently (February 2015). I had a taste for some pizza, so I Googled the company. Thank God I did and found out it was a scam! I hope I would’ve figured it out if I would’ve called them while at the resort. Once I returned home, I decided to give them a call to see if I got anyone. The first few times I called, I got no one. Tonight, I called and it sounded like a child answered and said, “Pizza!” (That should be a red flag that this place is not legit. I mean….they didn’t even say the name of the company.) I didn’t say anything, so it sounded like a woman then said, “Pizza!” I still didn’t say anything, so a man said, “Pizza!” Finally after saying that a few times, he told me to have a nice day. Then he said, “Pizza!” again. I was silent. He then told me that I probably didn’t have any money to pay for the pizza anyway. After a few more minutes of him saying, “Pizza! Have a nice day and thanks for bothering us and you probably don’t have any money! he finally hung up. I hope no one gets scammed by these people. BEWARE!

  11. DisneyTrip2015 says

So I call this place back later and the man answers with, “Pizza” I said nothing. So he continues to say “Pizza, Pizza!” Then he proceeds to use nothing but profanity and sexually explicit comments. Wow, I really hope no one falls for this foolery. It’s sad that people sit around and prey upon others’ hard-earned money. Thank God they didn’t get to scam me and I hope that others can be made aware of it before they get scammed!

  12. Soooo….I feel a bit dumb for falling for this, but alas, I did. We are staying at Caribbean Beach. We called the number and ordered a pizza, wings, and mozzarella sticks. It came to $34.06. They did indeed answer the phone ‘pizza’ which I thought was odd, but placed the order anyways since the wife didn’t want to go out tonight. We were told it would be 45 mins to an hour. It was about an hour, but a guy with one of those oven bags showed up and gave us the food. Thankfully, I paid cash. I asked for a receipt and the guy basically handed me the hand written copy of the order slip (after taking a snapshot of it with his phone). Clearly a bit shady, but if you’re truly doing nothing but scamming people, why do you care if you have a picture of the receipt? Anyways, legitimacy aside, we were brought what we ordered, though it was definitely not representative of the pictures on their flier. The food was pretty damn terrible, frankly. Pizza was no better than little Caesars or dominos. And that was the best part of the meal. The cheese sticks had virtually no breading and their marinara was just bad. We ordered 10 wings and only received 9. They were rubbery and looked nothing like the picture. They were drowning in oily sauce. And the ranch we were supposed to get with them was nowhere to be seen. Hopefully our tragedy will help others to make better choices. You’ve been warned!!

  13. Liz at Disney says

just found this flier slipped under our door last night at the Marriott hotel near Disney world, earlier tonight we had come home early from the parks and decided to try to order this pizza for dinner at around 8 or 9. We tried calling the number on multiple phones including our hotel phone and we just got a recording saying that the voicemail box has not been set up yet so we decided to call the hotel desk to ask if they could get us through to them. They told us they had never heard of the pizza place so we tried looking up the website since $28.95 for a large pizza 2 dinners and garlic bread seemed like a great deal and the pizza looked really good. It led us to this article, thankfully. Very sketchy, will be reporting to the Marriott hotel.

  14. Two Italians (which has multiple bogus flyers) continues to trespass property and distribute their flyers as they check for unlocked doors and vehicles. I don’t understand why the police haven’t been able to stop them yet; they have been targeting the local resorts in the dark for well over a year. The public needs protection from these criminals!!!

  15. We fell for it tonight, assuming it was an affiliate of Disney. Fortunately paid cash. Pizza was garbage, and cold. Wings were rubber, and sitting in a pool of grease. This was at All Star Music Resort. When I called back to question this questionable meal, I got no answer. Also didn’t bring correct change, stating he only had $9.00 on him. We were hungry, tired, and didn’t feel like going out, so we bit the bullet.
Searched to leave a review, and found this. Boy do we feel like amateur vacationers. Lesson learned. Although we did go hungry tonight, as we have no idea where this came from, and wouldn’t eat it.

  16. This is still going around, me and my wife just got a flyer at a hotel in Clearwater

    • Hi Timothy. I’m a reporter for FOX 13 in Tampa. I’m working on a story about those fliers being distributed elsewhere in Pinellas County. Could you e-mail me at haley.hinds@foxtv.com? I’d like to hear more about your experience.

  17. Peter Bonk says

Fact- Mr. Bonk was ran out of town over 1 year ago by corrupt cops who lied to pin false charges on him. Thanks to “the Cloud” this will be proven at trial and I will be vindicated.

Stop all the rumors! Show proof of all this jibberish! Not one stolen credit card charge filed in Oscea or Orange county!

All central Florida nees organizations should be ashamed of themselves for NOT REPORTING THE OTHER SIDES STORY!!! How much has the mouse paid you???

Tourist beware of the real scam which is the mouse and the ones doing its dirty work for it in CREATING THESE FALSE RUMORS TO MAKE YOU ORDER FROM THEM AND THEIR BUDDIES INSTEAD OF FROM US!!!!

THE MOUSE AND ITS COHORTS even had a new Statewide law passednot only to gaurantee their monopoly on the pizza business in the area but to incarcerate anyone who would dare compete with them!!!! UNFAIR COMPETITION!!!!!!
