Walt Disney World allows smoking only in specific locations in their resorts and parks, but now there are a couple less places to smoke in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
There have been six smoking locations at DHS for quite some time now, but two of them have been removed.
No longer are there smoking locations outside of the Hollywood Brown Derby and Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show. There are four smoking spots still available at DHS, and they are as follows:
- Next to 50’s Prime Time Cafe
- Between the ABC Commissary and The Great Movie Ride
- In the courtyard of the Studio Catering Company
- On Sunset Blvd, behind Hollywood Scoops across from the entrance to Fantasmic!
No word has been given as to why either location was closed, but there are some good assumptions.
The location outside of the Hollywood Brown Derby was likely taken away due to the new patio lounge dining location that opened up at the end of October.
As for LMA, that is a rather large and open area so it’s quite surprising to see it closed down.
Kind of shocking there are any to begin with, all things considered.
