Two Magic Kingdom restaurants will be closing in early 2014 for rather lengthy refurbishments so be sure to know that you may not be able to enjoy them during your upcoming trips.
Pinocchio Village Haus has been surrounded by refurbishment walls for some time now as the outside seating area gets some work done, but the restaurant itself has been open. It will be fully closed beginning on Feb. 17, 2014 through March 30, 2014.
It is tentatively scheduled to reopen on March 31, 2014.
The Plaza Restaurant will also be closed for around the same amount of time. It will close for refurbishment on Feb. 17, 2014, through March 15, 2014.
It is tentatively scheduled to reopen on March 16, 2014.
This means that two of Magic Kingdom’s restaurants will be shut down for almost a month and a half so that means your plans will have to be altered some. Dates are scheduled to change.
Dates are scheduled to change? I know changes happen often but scheduling the change seems odd.
Disney announces that because sometimes refurbishments are cancelled just days before they are scheduled to begin. Sometimes, refurbishments also take longer than originally scheduled so they want guests to realize the closing and and reopening dates are tentative and don’t want them to plan things around originally released dates.
