The day is drawing closer for Princess Fairytale Hall to open in the Magic Kingdom, but the surrounding walls are already down in Fantasyland. While walking through the Magic Kingdom, it was obviously noticeable that the walls are down on the former Snow White’s Scary Adventures and ready for a whole new experience.
Sept. 18, 2013, is the official grand opening day for the new attraction, but the walls are now down and the outside is visible for all to see.
A Cast Member is standing outside of Princess Fairytale Hall at all times now so that guests passing by can know that it isn’t yet open, but it will be in about a week.
While speaking with a few Cast Members around, it is said that there is no scheduled “soft opening,” but the Cast Member preview is set for Sept. 17, 2013.
For those not aware, this will be the new Disney Princess meet-and-greet at the Magic Kingdom. Rapunzel will be on one side of the attraction while Cinderella will be on the other. One other Disney Princess will join them on their sides at all times. It has been said that Jasmine, Mulan, Aurora, Snow White, and Pocahontas could join the two main princesses at any time.
Cast Members standing outside today said that “all of the Disney Princesses” will make appearances here. That’s rather interesting considering that Tiana, Ariel, and Belle all have their own meet-and-greet locations not far away.
But then again, so does Cinderella just around the corner in her Castle. We shall soon see.
