There are a ton of rumors floating around about what could be announced at this year’s D23 Expo coming up in a few weeks, and most are anxiously awaiting any kind of ride or park announcements. Well, there won’t be a lot of big-time things announced as the “Parks and Resorts Presentation of WDI Projects” was cancelled so that means nothing huge.
Still, there is word that a few small announcements could be made and one could be a major refurbishment of Journey Into Imagination at Epcot in 2014.
For a while now, Cast Members at the Imagination Pavilion have said that they are being trained at other attraction locations. This is due to a rumored extensive amount of downtime in 2014.
Now, if this happens, what will be done isn’t known at all. It could be something minor or it could be a major overhaul.
Personally, Doctor Disney wouldn’t mind if they bring back more of the original concept of the ride and also bring the upstairs ImageWorks back as well…but that’s just me.
