Remember how it was reported last week that “The Magic, The Memories, and You!” would have its final showing at the Magic Kingdom on September 3, 2012? Well, now we know what will be replacing it, and its going to be a new nighttime show called “Celebrate The Magic” which will debut in November 2012.
Disney has confirmed the new show will be “amazing” and that guests won’t be disappointed.
“‘Celebrate the Magic’ takes us on a journey to the heart of the most beloved Disney stories and characters,” said Show Director Katy Harris. “This amazing show will magically transform Cinderella Castle with spectacular projection effects, choreographed to a new music soundtrack. The show will be full of emotion and storytelling, proving that, with imagination and magic in our hearts, anything is possible.”
Guests at Disneyland won’t have the new show to look forward to as it will be exclusive to the Magic Kingdom, but no worries. Disneyland will be seeing the return of “it’s a small world” holiday later this year.
