The opening date of May 31, 2012 is quickly approaching for Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and guests can’t wait to be some of the first ones in the new digs. Construction is really coming along nicely out back behind Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and below are a number of pics from this past week. As you can see, the Finding Nemo wing – which opens first – is really looking great.
Over to the left hand side is the Cars wing is also looking really good. The wing over to the right of the main section appears to be that of The Little Mermaid has no real decorations on it yet.
Current timetable of opening phases:
- May 31, 2012 – Finding Nemo wing
- Late July 2012 – Cars wing
- Late September 2012 – The Liong King wing
- Late 2012 – The Little Mermaid wing
