A rumor started going around today that Rapunzel would soon be moving from the Fairytale Garden and over to where the old Fantasyland Skyway Station once stood. While it’s true that she will be moving somewhere else in Magic Kingdom and deeper into Fantasyland, it isn’t going to be where expected. Once Snow White’s Scary Adventures closes down, it will be emptied and refurbished to make way for the Disney Princesses.

Cast Members confirmed to me that the Disney Princesses up front in the Town Square Theater with Mickey will also be moving to Fantasyland. There is no word yet who will be moving into their location on Main Street U.S.A., but if not a permanent name (or names) than it could be random characters each day.
Heading into Fairytale Garden will be Disney’s first Pixar Princess as Princess Merida from Brave will take over that “Meet and Greet.”
Snow White’s Scary Adventures will be closing since the Seven Dwarfs’ Mine Train will be a part of the Fantasyland Expansion. There is no date set yet for the closing of Snow White, but rumors have it shutting down for good in June of 2012. That time frame is not confirmed though.
The old Fantasyland Skyway Station is actually being refurbished right now to turn into new bathrooms. Rumors continue to go around now that the queue line for Peter Pan’s Flight will be turned into an interactive queue once the old bathrooms are removed. The attraction is currently seeing its current line extended.
