Disney Recipe: LeFou’s Brew from Gaston’s Tavern

One of the newest and most sought after drinks in all of Walt Disney World is that of LeFou’s Brew. It can be had at Gaston’s Tavern over in the newer section of Fantasyland, and it’s quite incredibly awesome.

With that being said, there’s no reason not to enjoy it all the time so check out this Disney Recipe for Lefou’s Brew.

The following recipe makes 32 ounces of LeFou’s Brew.

Ingredients

Foam Topping

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (cold)
  • 4 tbsp Passionfruit Juice
  • 4 tbsp Mango Nectar/Juice
  • 3 tbsp sugar

Apple Slush (Brew)

Directions

Foam Topping

1.) Pour whipping cream into mixing bowl. It helps if mixing bowl is chilled.

2.) Add passionfruit and mango juices.

3.) Add sugar to mixture and beat on high speed until stiff peaks begin to form. This can take some time so continue until the peaks form and then set in refrigerator.

Apple Slush (Brew)

1.) Pour both cans of the frozen apple juice into a blender.

2.) Add the 12 oz. of water and toaster marshmallow syrup.

3.) Blend on high speed for 10-15 seconds. The slushy texture should form right away.

4.) Pour into glass and serve LeFou’s Brew immediately. Don’t let it sit and rest. Add your frosted topping and that’s it.

Here is a great tip and something to remember about LeFou’s Brew from The Disney Diner:

**TIP: Disney keeps the mix moving in those rotating slush machines all day. I don’t have one of those and more than likely you don’t either. With that in mind, don’t make your Le Fou’s Brew until you are actually ready to serve it. It does not keep, it will begin to separate (and melt).
If you have leftovers, you can always stick it back in the freezer and just blend it again next time you want to enjoy the tasty treat, otherwise, it’s best to drink it right away. But, if your family is anything like mine, you probably won’t have any leftovers. They were drinking it faster than I could make it! **
