Disney Recipe: Mom’s Meatloaf from 50’s Prime Time Cafe

Mom’s Meatloaf from 50’s Prime Time Cafe over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios shouldn’t be missed, but if you want to try it without all the stress and pressure…this Disney Recipe is for you.

It’s now called Cousin Ann’s Traditional Meatloaf, but is virtually the same thing. The old version had a slightly different taste in my opinion and it’s Mom’s Meatloaf that I love more.

Ingredients

Meatloaf

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • ½ cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup diced green peppers
  • 1/4 cup diced red peppers
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Kosher salt and black pepper (to taste)

Meatloaf Glaze

  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Meatloaf Glaze

1.) Combine all ingredients in a bowl until mixture is smooth. Set to the side.

Meatloaf

1.) Preheat oven to 350°.

2.) Dice peppers and onions and set to the side.

3.) Combine beef, pork, bread crumbs, eggs, and Worcestershire sauce together in a big bowl and mix together thoroughly. Add salt and pepper as personally needed.

4.) Mix in vegetables.

5.) Place meat mixture into an oiled loaf pan.

6.) Bake at 350° for one hour, until the internal temperature of the meatloaf is 155-160°.

7.) Remove meatloaf from oven and brush entire top with meatloaf glaze.

8.) Return to oven and let bake for another 10 minutes before removing to serve.
