Disney Recipe: Berry Cobbler from Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge

The Artist Point Berry Cobbler at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is one of the most sought-after desserts in all of Walt Disney World, and one that you’ll want to have all the time. Now, with this Disney Recipe, you can make it right at home, even when you’re not sitting in Artist Point.

Ingredients

Berry Cobbler

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tbsp salt
  • 2  1/2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 stick unsalted butter (diced)
  • 1  1/8 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream or whole milk
  • non-stick cooking spray

Topping

  • 2 cups blueberries or other seasonal berries
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick unsalted butter (diced)
  • whipped cream or ice cream (optional)

Directions

1.) Preheat oven to 350°

2.) Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl.

3.) Add in the diced butter along with the eggs and stir until all is absorbed.

4.) Pour in the heavy cream or milk and continue to stir. You’ll know you have it at the right consistency when the batter is rather thick and still lumpy.

5.) Spray a 9×13″ baking dish with the non-stick cooking spray. Spoon in your batter and spread it out evenly in the dish.

6.) Top the batter layer with evenly with your berries.

7.) Sprinkle the berries and batter with 1/2 cup of brown sugar and dot with some diced butter.

8.) Place dish into oven and bake for 50 minutes at 350°. You’ll know when all is done and ready when you insert a toothpick and it comes out perfectly clean, and bake it to a golden brown.

9.) Let your Artist Point berry cobbler cool to room temperature and serve to your liking. Make sure to put some extra berries around on the plate and you can top it with some vanilla ice cream of whipped topping.
