Disney Recipe: Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken from 50’s Prime Time Cafe

One of the best dishes to be had over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios sits on the tables of the 50’s Prime Time Cafe, but make sure your elbows don’t rest there. It would be Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken which may sound simple, but it’s got a taste that has a lot of love and home-cooking in it.

This one really isn’t too difficult and before you know it, you’ll be serving your own Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken.

Ingredients

  • 1 Whole Chicken
  • 3/4 cup wheat flour
  • 3/4 cup soy flour
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 oz whole dry eggs
  • 1 tbsp red pepper
  • 2 oz non-fat dry milk

Directions

1.) Cut chicken into 1/8’s – 2 breasts, 2 thighs, 2 legs, 2 wings.

2.) Take all your ingredients and mix them into a bowl.

3.) Wash chicken off, clean well, and keep it wet.

4.) Take each piece of chicken and cover it in the breading mixture.

5.) Deep fry in hot oil until a golden brown.
