More changes are coming to the Downtown Disney district at the Disneyland Resort, and it all has to do with increases in the parking rates.
Beginning on Aug. 16, 2017, there will be a brand new parking policy put in place for Downtown Disney. Here is exactly what it entails:
- Two hours of free parking only if a $20 minimum purchase is made and validation is received from any Downtown Disney location*.
- Four hours of free parking with validation from any Downtown Disney table-service restaurant or AMC Theatres.
- For guest drop-offs, there is a 15-minute grace period. After 15 minutes, there will be a minimum $6 fee with each additional half hour being $6.
*Downtown Disney locations could be a quick-service restaurant or kiosk.
The maximum is $48.
