Mobile Food Ordering Coming To These Five Magic Kingdom Restaurants This Summer

Last month, Mobile Food Ordering was introduced to Walt Disney World with Satu’li Canteen in Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom to be the first location to introduce it. A number of other locations are going to receive it as well, and these five locations in Magic Kingdom will have it in place sometime this summer.

Disney has confirmed that Mobile Food Ordering will begin at five Magic Kingdom quick-service locations this summer and they are:

  • Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe
  • Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe
  • Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant
  • Pinocchio Village Haus
  • Columbia Harbour House

The process is quite simple and it works very easily.

  1. Open the My Disney Experience app
  2. Tap your character icon
  3. Scroll down to “Order Food” under “My Plans”
  4. Select “Dining,” select your dining location, and choose “Order Food”
  5. Make your selections for food and beverages
  6. Pay using a credit card – Please note: As of now, Mobile Ordering can only be used with credit cards and not cash or the Disney Dining Plan.
  7. Arrive at your dining location
  8. Open the My Disney Experience app
  9. Tap your character icon
  10. Select “I’m Here, Prepare My Order” – This will send a message to the kitchen to start preparing your food.
  11. A notification will be sent to your food when it is ready and you can pick it up at the “Mobile Order Pick Up” location

Other locations at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Epcot are expected to start Mobile Food Ordering in the future as well.

At this time, the only method of payment that can be used for Mobile Food Ordering is credit card. The Disney Dining Plan can’t be used, but maybe in the future.

I can’t seem to find the source of the Disney confirmation for the additional locations. Do you know when Disney announced this?
