The Travel Channel has released their list of the 10 best new restaurants in Walt Disney World, and have to say that it is hard to disagree with them. This list is a pretty good guide for Guests who have not been able to experience all the new restaurants and dining offerings, so, make sure to pay close attention.
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
1.) Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ – Disney Springs
One of the best locations in all of Walt Disney World, new or not. The menu is great from top to bottom with fried chicken, hush puppies, fried green tomatoes, and the awesome Hummingbird Cake.
2.) California Grill – Disney’s Contemporary Resort
This restaurant has been around for quite a while, but there is a new experience called Celebration at the Top of the World which all Guests should enjoy.
3.) Planet Hollywood Observatory – Disney Springs
Brand new menu. Brand new look. You also never know who will end up seeing here.
4.) Frontera Cocina – Disney Springs
Rick Bayless has cooked up and put together some of the best Mexican food you will ever taste and everyone should try it.
5.) Paddlefish – Disney Springs
The former Fulton’s Crab House has some great new food options and an incredible new look.
6.) Trattoria al Forno – Disney’s Boardwalk Inn
Great Italian food and a breakfast that Guests can enjoy with some Royal Couples from Disney animated classics.
7.) Geyser Point & Grill – Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
The new quick-service restaurant introduces a variety of different options that will much more enjoyable than your typical fast-food choices.
8.) The Edison – Disney Springs
Set to open later this year.
9.) Tiffins – Disney’s Animal Kingdom
One of the best and most unique fine dining experiences you will ever try. Don’t forget to take a look around the restaurant as well for you won’t want to miss out on the amazing decor.
10.) Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen – Magic Kingdom
While the menu has seen a few changes since it opened, the food is still great and will offer you choices you can’t find anywhere else at Walt Disney World. You also will have a restaurant wait staff that is one of the funniest anywhere.
