All we know is that the Star Wars-themed lands at Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Resort will be opening in 2019, but we don’t have an exact date yet. Still, Disney is making sure to give updates and now…we have some AT-ATs.
The Disney Parks Blog has provided a behind-the-walls look at the new Star Wars-themed land construction, and by looking at the video below, you can tell this video is straight from Disneyland Park.
The new lands on both coasts will each be 14 acres and will take Guests deep into the world of Star Wars.
These two new immersive lands will transport guests to a never-before-seen planet, a remote trading port and one of the last stops before wild space where Star Wars characters and their stories come to life and where guests will find themselves in the middle of the action.
We’re also creating two incredible new signature attractions: one that lets guests take the controls of Millennium Falcon on a customized secret mission, and an epic Star Wars adventure that puts guests in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance.
With so much activity across our 14-acre construction sites as this new world is created, we wanted to show you how things are shaping up in this exclusive video – and you may not believe what you’re looking AT-AT.
